    Well, Today I ordered a laptop, It is a replacement for my desktop that just died. I saw this site while looking for information on laptops, And So far its helped a lot, And made my decision and ordered a XPS m1530. With these stats.

    Here are some of the stats of my build. And at the end, The good price.

    I used a 25% off coupon, And got it all for $1400.

    Now.. Time to wait... Its going to seem like forever.

    Man, I got mine just a few months ago and it's pretty much the same (I have a T9500, but with only 3 Gb RAM) and it cost around $2200. :(

    EDIT: But I am still really happy with it. Just sad about the price drop.

    Its always gonna get better. One day in October, we may see illuminated keyboards and a sleeker design. Deal with it, tech changes. Its inevitable!

    Yes waiting is really bad, but i guess once you get it you will be all happy.. Congrats on your new laptop, I'm still waiting to get mine :)

    One thing tho, if you have read around on here, you should of known that you should get only 1GB from dell and then buy a 4GB kit off of newegg or frys or something, because dell charges you $50 per gig, and thats $150 for a 4GB, and newegg or frys only charge $50 for a 4GB and it takes about 8 minutes to install..

    Well, the min is 2 gig so.. not much you can do about it. I actually ordered my ram from newegg yesterday getting ready for its inception hopefully by the end of next week if im very very lucky.

    I guess you could call Dell and tell them that you only want 1GB and see if they can take any more money off lol..
