    This laptop has the Intel® Core™ i5-430M (2.26GHz, 4Threads, turbo boost up to 2.53Ghz, 3M cache)

i5-430M: Is thi one slower than Intel® Core™ i5-520M processor (Sony Vaio CW)

I am debating on buying this Inspiron 15 and Sony CW. I love Inspiron 15 over Sony CW. However, the Dell processor is slower than CW. Will Dell have more powerful processor on this Inspiron?

Sony CW is a better laptop. It has Geforce 330 video, 1600x900 screen and faster proc.

and the CW does not have numeric keypad. That is why I dont get it. The 1564 in USA does not have i5 520 or 540. I dont know should I buy 1564 with i5 430 or should I wait for i5 520 or 540?????????

It all depends on how bad you want the laptop. The difference between an i5/430 and i5/520 is not that much but from the i5/430 to an i5/540 is slightly more, this giving you more of a boost.
