I have a new Inspiron 3520 with Windows 8 (bummer!) that is connected wirelessly (sometimes) to a DSL router from Qwest/CenturyLink. Very often, i get the mesage that my network connectivity is LIMITED. When I try to manually reconnect, I get the message CAN"T CONNECT TO THIS NETWORK. It remains disconnected, often for hours, before it somehow reconnects itself (it is set to connect automatically).

The thing is, I also have an 8-year-old Dell Dimension which is also connected wirelessly to the same router (using an old USB wireless adapter). This connection never goes goes down. Nor do I lose connectivity with my Blackberry or Roku, all connected to the same router.

So Dell reloaded the driver, tried a few other things, then sent a guy out to replace the wireless card. The random connectivity continued unchanged. So they replaced my notebook. But I still have the same problem.
So with a replacement laptop, I have to think it has nothing to do with the laptop. But if that is the case, why do all my other wireless devices work fine all the time? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

BTW, if I connect the inspiron to the router with an ethernet cable, internet works fine.

Hey meptmoore. I'm having the same problem with my new 3520 and it is SO FRUSTRATING! I've done a little research and it seems to be a common problem with these things. Have you figured out a solution yet? I also connect to wifi at work and it will do the same thing so I know it can't be my internet provider. Anyway, please let me know if you have found anything. Thanks in advance!
