Nice, they are quite powerful for the Inspiron line, any news about new Studios?

These look good and agree pretty powerful. Based on the diagrams, it looks like they took design cues from the Dell mini 10.

I own the inspiron N7010, I am kind of disapointed, it takes for ever to load up, some times i freezes up, I have a i5 processor, with 6gb RAM, I though I was getting rid of all my speed probles but I didn't. my latitude d600 pentium m 512 MB RAM, would perform faster. I don't know what's wrong bcse I have other dell computers and I don't have any problems except on this one.

Perhaps you have a failing drive? Try running the Dell Diagnostics. I believe all Inspirons ship with 5400 rpm drives.

If you want to upgrade your hard drive, you can also do that with the Inspiron-line, all you really need is to purchase a larger/faster replacement, perhaps 500GB/750GB @ 7200RPM, either one would work fine.

Me too. It is real disappointment, considering the specs. It should run smoothly, but it doesn't. I have tried all kind of OSes, every possible tuning and it still slow, non responsive... Strange issues with drivers, complicated and poor technical support. Mask got some scratches from top cover several days after I bought it and slight paint peeled near the touch pad and that spot begin to rust, probably from hand moisture after six months of usage.

But the most terrible thing is it's cooling system, which is disaster. Laptop fan works to often and is noisy. Manufacturer battery should have larger capacity, it only lasts for an hour and a half when watching movie from HD, so you wont be able to see whole movie while on battery.

I hope this is not the case with other dell computers.
