Hey guys I ordered a new Latitude after my 5 year old Gateway M350WVN shot craps. I ordered it though my school, and the only drawback is that they could only order a 2.00GHz processor and only 2GB of RAM. So I got online and ordered 4GB of RAM for it. My question is, should I install the RAM before I even power up the notebook, or wait until I've started it a few times and made sure everthing is good? Also, I ordered 667MHz RAM because that is what it is coming with, but should/could I have ordered 800MHz, and would it have made much of a difference? Thanks guys! Here is the specs of what I ordered:

The chipset inside the D830 is either PM965 or GM965 and both of them support maximum DDR2 667 mhz RAM speed. If you install 800mhz RAM modules, they will be downclocked to 667mhz so you made a good choice.
