    New Problem with DELL Studio 1535

    Hi,

    My DELL laptop freezes for 2 to 3 sec's when I click on DVD eject/ insert LAN cable/ insert a USB / insert power card.

    I can repro this when I play a video/ audio. Both audio and video freezes for 3 sec's making a freaking sound from the speaker when I do any of the above actions.

    I dont think this is a problem with O.S or a s/w as I already formated my entire system and installed latest drivers downloaded from dell support website.

    BIOS is also updated to latest version A06.

    This problem first started when DELL technician opened my laptop case to replace the failed HDD. He installed the O.S and drivers and left this new problem unresolved saying its common.

    I dont think this is common problem.. Can any one help me out to fix this????

    Its obvious that its a bad hd and its on its way out. When it freezes does it make any strange noises?
