    is this happening all the time or just once?

    because recently after having SP1 installed, both my HP and my Sony have had that similar error once, but its been good since then.

    Are you using Vista?

    If Yes, Did you just use Microsoft Update or Automatic Updates?

    If Yes, Power down the laptop and it should be OK. It seems that the restart does not work with the updates. It happened to me over and over then I figured it out.

    I am using VISTA HOME PREMIUM and It happens a lot of times.
