Hi everyone, well this is my third e1505/6400 replacement. I am amazed at how poor dells laptop quality control is.

Ok first laptop I got dead pixel. Replacement sent... Second laptop light leak from Samsung display...really annoying. Third replacement light leak is still there but different then second one. On top of that I am getting a sound from the left side of the laptop hard to describe but I will say its high pitch similar to the sound you get from old Tube television when you get close to them. So I am going to keep the second laptop.

The only other thing that is bothering me about number 2 is that the left button on the laptop that acts as a mouse button everytime you press it squeaks. Is there anyway to fix this? Can I pop it off? Any ideas?

I am noticing the sound on my half year old laptop. In real life situations you don't really notice it.

Well its not fixable from what I gathered so I just disarmed the other laptop they sent and took the shell part and swapped it. No more squeeks.

Dells guides for removing things are great!

Take the buttons off 1, the screen off 3 and keep 2?
