    Link

I like the 1010 with the Z540 option, and the 1110 with an 11 inch screen (see signature). Might get one of these for college this fall.

What I don't understand is why offer both Atom platforms (Z and N processors) in the Mini 10?

And look at the slide here. The performance increase from the Z540 is minimal?

See where it says Pinetrail, that is the next generation Atom (aka what I'm waiting for)! :D

Look at the roadmaps, is the Mini 9 going to last?

Nice find both of you..I think this is good to a certain extent. :D

And, Jay..you have been waiting for a long time!

But, honestly...When will this ever end?? The sizes?

Are soon, we going to be seeing ~ half sizes being made in Netbooks, also?? 9.5, 10.5, 11.5, and so forth?

Why doesn't Dell..just come out, and make netbooks customized, according to the *hand prints of the user*?

Pretty soon the Market for Netbooks is going to be overwhelming for the buyer... and

    Cin ;) :)

The 11.6" one is not a netbook. It is an ultraportable based on Intel's new CULLV platform that will debut this summer. Acer, MSI and HP are also planning ultraportables on the platform, with sizes from 11" up to 15"! These are supposed to compete with the Vaio TT, Asus U3, and other expensive ultraportables by bringing computers their size into the price range more consumers can afford.

Basically there are 3 categories of Intel laptop:

    Netbook (Atom)
    Ultraportable (CULV platform)
Normal notebook (Core 2 Duo and others)

Off course there are so many different Intel processors, its hard to fit them all into one of those categories.

i see that 10" model has build on tv tuner already,
hope that tuner has fm radio also.
any words on wimax yet? it'd be sweet carrying a 10" light weight netbook with a always on wifi service, life cant get better than that.

I call fake, look at the processor for the 1011, N270 1.3ghz.
No such processor exists, the N270 is a 1.6 only, there is no 1.3, and if there was an N series 1.3 it would have a different number, the N270 is what is in the mini9.
The prices are laughably low, too.

    It's a photoshop job.

    EDIT:
The text is different between 'em too.

They are not fake, the Studio XPS's leaked with roadmaps looking exactly like this and there was a big fight with people calling them fake, but in the end they were real.

    We shall see.
Hopefully dell will realize that the N270 doesn't have a 1.3ghz flavor and fix that.

I still have my doubts, the presence of another road map that looks that same proves nothing, as it would make a lovely PS start point.
