    Does anyone know if they're planning on updating the specs on the e1705 anytime soon because i'll hold off my purchase for a little while if they are. The reason I'm asking is someone alluded to it in an older thread and rather then dig that one up I'm asking here. Thanks.

    I am no expert, but I would say that you will not find any significant improvements until the new platform (santa rosa) comes out. If you need a laptop, buy, if you can wait, it's always better to.
