    Hi all,

I'm getting a new XPS M170 soon and wondered if there was standard performance software to run. I know about 3D Mark, but that's just graphics, right? I'm looking for overall performance.

I want to benchmark out of the box config, optimize performance using some guides in the forums, and re-test.

Then, I plan on doing a fresh install of XP and all re-install the drivers before I run the test again for results. I will optimize again for a 4th set of results.

I plan on posting everyone (along with references to the guides I used) once complete.

    Software suggestions?

Don't know if this is in the right forum, or if already posted. I did some checking and couldn't find anything.
