New to dell waiting on my 1420

New member to the forum and a soon to be new Dell 1420 owner. Being that this will be my first Dell laptop ive owned i had a couple of questions.
1)Whats the difference between the WXGA TL LCD screen and the WXGA LCD screen?
2)Does the laptop come with alot of useless software i can delete?
3)Any recomendations as to what software i should install?

$1365.38 with military discount and other offers they were running at the time of purchase. I ordered mines on the 16th with a scheduled shipping date of 8/6/2007. Whish it didnt take so long.

 

1) WXGA TL LCD vs. WXGA LCD
the TL means it has a truelife glossy coating
2) that's a rather subjective question, but usually there are programs that you don't use, or you have a better option to utilize instead
3) what are you planning to use the laptop for?
