New week starting..here's hoping we get our deliveries!

Well...a new week will be starting tomorrow and for those of us with delivery dates scheduled for this week for our Vostros, 1520' and 1720's that have been on terminal back order I say....Good luck and I hope it comes!

Let's all do a "Dell Delivery Dance"....and pray to the "Delivery Gods" that our deliveries come on time and we do not get let down yet again!

Yeah, mine's scheduled to ship Wednesday. I'll be very disappointed if it isn't shipped this week.

 

Hopefully, ordered on 7/4, ship date 8/3, I'll probably cancel if they delay a 3rd time

 

I feel your pain, I ordered 7/1, twice delayed and sitting on 8/3. My case manager says "Regarding the order, it is estimated to be delivered to you on or before 8/3/2007." Yet my est shipping date is 8/3... Who knows...

 

I ordered in the 13th, and its supposed to ship on 8/6. I just finished packing up my old computer, waiting for my Dell Recycling labels. Now it probably will get delayed! I hope not!!

woo can't wait. Tomorrow i get my vostro 1500. If anyone wants pics ill post them! And ill try my best to answer any questions. I got a great digital camera that will take good pictures.

I hope mine ships by Tuesday. How long does boxing stage usually take?

 

boxing takes just about 2 business days.

mines suppose to ship tomorrow...but i doubt it since it is still in the build stage as of right now....great delays....i better get some kind of compensation since it was promised to me that nothing was on backorder...

 

That would depend on the system, and varies for each person even then (or at least for the m1330 )

I'm hoping to get my Vostro 1500 in a couple of days ^_^ Keeping fingers crossed for tomorrow but I read somewhere that I'm supposed to get a call up to a couple of days before delivery in some areas, letting me know, and I haven't gotten one. Personally, I'd prefer for it to be a surprise .

When did you order?

Mine is still in the Build stage as it has been since July 8th...I am getting tired of calling the 800 number and hearing that....just once I would like to call and have that recording say..."OK, I have some information for you...your order is now in the boxing stage!"

I guess it will come when it comes, but I just hope they do not give me a 3rd delay....it is just too disappointing.

 

I order in 18/07, and shipping date was on 03/08.

My commercials doesn't answer my e-mails and calls... Honesty, Dell-Spain sucks.

 

I ordered a 1420 on July 12th, estimated shipping date July 30th. This whole time when I call it is says your are still in pre-production, will be shipped on July 30th. Customer service assured me there was nothing on backorder and it would be shipped on Monday. This was told to me late last week. Now when I call, early Monday morning, it says you ordered is in pre-production and that is all the information we have at this time.

 

I ordered mine July 18th, its shipping today.

 

mine is scheduled to ship next week (7th), but I'm hoping in comes a week earlier like it usually does with dell.

well i had a chat with dell service a bit ago and they confirmed they are out of stock on "The part# DY693 that is for the 'BZL,PLSTC,LCD,WCMRA,BLUE,G/Y' is currently out of stocks" and suggested i contact support about changing my order so can get that part replaced. and they said my order isnt delayed even though they are out of stock on that part. and this is on a 1720.

Well, here is to hoping mine goes into production this week. But I just ordered last week, so I don't count on it... just hoping...

 

The part# DY693 that is for the 'BZL,PLSTC,LCD,WCMRA,BLUE,G/Y' is currently out of stocks What the heck part is that? I hope my 1720 does not have it! I wish I could get a rep to tell me what my machine's hold up is....drives me nuts!

I ordered my 1520 7/13 and it finally moved to testing stage today. Hopefully that means I'll be getting it sometime this week. I had to check again to make sure that I was hearing things right.

 

As of this morning (Tuesday) my 1720 is STILL in the build stage....I have a sinking feeling I am going to see yet ANOTHER delay!
