Hi hope this is in the right section, I'm looking for any help i can get. I got a virus on my comp after 1 of my chinese workers plugged there memory stick in unbeknown to me. So i went round deleting everything that looked suspicious. However i seem to have deleted something to do with my sound card.![]()

Its a Dell Inspiron 9400 with the OEM soundcard which i believe is a soundblaster something. But when i try and play itunes or similar there is no sound and when i click on the mixer it cant be found. Ive tried downloading drivers but im not 100% i got the right ones,
Any help would be greatly appreciated, im stuck in china and cant watch dvds!!![]()

ye olde reformat and reinstall never fails
alternatively you can check if you accidentally deleted the driver and try to reinstall it. -

Sorry im not great with computors -
