My Vostro 1500 replacement shipped today via DHL Next Business Day. It shows a estimated delivery date of Tuesday. Shouldn't I get it on Monday or am I mistaken?

If it shipped later than about 5-6pm on Friday or later, the "Next Business Day Clock" starts on Monday...so Tuesday delivery.

You might be able to pick up from the DHL facility however. I've also had DHL deliver it on Monday although it's "due for delivery" Tuesday. DHL does not usually throttle delivery time to match the service. So, if you live close enough, even if you got standard ground, you could receive the shipment the next day. (Quite the opposite of UPS)

In my experience, DHL usually waits around for the last minute to deliver. Maybe its just the area I'm in.

Since they wait until the last minute to put it on a delivery truck, something else usually happens and the package is delivered a day or two or three (yes, three) days late.

So I effectively get ground shipping when I paid for faster, and DHL refuses to offer compensation for shoddy service.

DHL and I have an understanding now. I do not use their service, and they know it.
