    ...I'm not talking about 1525 but rather the next major upgrade/new model.

    When do people think Dell will release a new line of Inspirons? My guess is that it will be in or around February, with new Penryn processors--late Jan at the earliest, mid to late March at the latest.

    What do others here think?

    I don't see them waiting a year between releases, especially since the competition will be releasing a number of new laptops after the new year.

    If they released something in Feb, that would be almost 8 months between releases which is consistent with past release times.

    Does anybody else think we'll hear something in a little more than 6 weeks?

    I imagine they'll have to release Penryn processor Inspirons fairly soon.

    Montevina will be out by Mid-2008 (Q2).

    Definitely look for new models then.

    17" inspiron w/ option of Nvidia 8800M GTS (not GTX) 256MB DDR3.

    Last year the e1705 had the 7900 GS as an option.
