I was on Dell.com and about to order a 1720, but the integrated Bluetooth option has disappeared... What the? Is it now included by default? I can't find the option to add the Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR anymore... Anyone know what happened?

It is included as a base option now. I'm trying to determine where you can see this, but I'm not even finding it. I had the same problem though, and it showed up on the final receipt, right before I placed my order.

Oh, mine didn't show up on the final receipt before I placed the order, nor did it show up in my e-mail... But hopefully my 1720 will have the Bluetooth capability. If not, I'll have to go out and buy a USB one. Thanks for your help.

You can add it anytime for under $30

Prior to August 2nd, you had to configure your system to have bluetooth. Since then, bluetooth has been added as a base option for all of the 1720 configurations. If your order was placed before this date and you didn't specifically order bluetooth, then you won't have it. If you placed your order since the 2nd, it should appear on your final receipt, near the bottom. Unfortunately, I have no proof to back myself up - I just know it's the case because I ordered on the 3rd and dealt with numerous Dell reps concerning this issue.

And no, the option to add bluetooth for $30 is not available anymore.

The Bluetooth option is back... For the same $20 add-on price. Now I have to call Dell in the morning to change my order...
