    No audio through HDMI after reboot

    I reinstalled windows 7 on my laptop after it became too cluttered and slow,
    but now, when I try to watch stuff from internet on my tv I get no sound through the HDMI, it only comes from the laptop.


    Any help would be much appreciated.

    check you audio playback device is set to hdmi, right click on the speaker icon on you desktop, bottom right of screen and select playback devices.

    yeh it says ready, and I can do the test which works fine, but then it doesnt play any sound after that.

    EDIT : got it, set it as default device and its worked.
