    No cd boot

    I have a laptop Dell Ispiron 700m. I want to reinstall win xp now. but can't boot from CD/DVD.

    errors: nstr missing
    press ctr + alt+del for restart.

    everyboby help me?.

    You need to go into BIOS (done by pressing the right key during POST, usually Del, F2 or something similar) and alter the boot order. Some BIOSes allow you to create a temporary boot order, but regardless of your situation, have the optical drive read before your primary hard drive.
