This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    No more 1420s?

    While doing my routine check on the Dell NZ website, I noticed that there is no option to configure the system for the Inspiron 1420 ( http://www1.ap.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/inspnnb_1420?c=nz&l=en&s=dhs&cs=nzdhs1), and at the previous page there is no price for the 1420 ( http://www1.ap.dell.com/content/products/category.aspx/notebooks?c=nz&cs=nzdhs1&l=en&s=dhs&~tab=2&redirect=1) I recently read that Dell is planning to cut back on the level of customization it offers http://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-dell3apr03,1,3890719.story?track=rss, but I would doubt that would be related. Hopefully just a mistake on the site?
