No more IPS RGB on Precision line - so you'll have to stick with WLED. WHAT!?

Sorry for a rant. But true story bro.

I have been a Dell customer for couple years now. The first experience with Dell precision line was phenomenal whereas I've made recommendation to many fellows. I've never had any major problem with the first machine. A few tech supports were needed and always satisfied. But not until this second generation of my experience with M4700 is the total downfall of Dell's epic fail.

I work with photography and needed a nice display to work with extended color space. And I'm telling you that getting a Dell *laptop for photography work is a real nightmare! STAY AWAY FROM DELL.

So I had made a purchased from Dell outlet back in March 2013. The system came quickly and everything worked perfectly fine. I started using it for couple days until experiencing abnormal static shock (or a sense of being contacted with electrical current) between my wrist, laptop palm rest, and the table. I'm not certainly sure what it was nor did I scientifically tested it. I did, however, contacted Dell support and received a great responded regarding machine hazard. They quickly shipped out box to me to send it to Dell depot for investigation. The system was fixed and sent back to me within a week. However, upon receiving back the machine, the display has an INCH CRACK, the FINGERPRINT FAILED to operate. So I had to contact Dell and went through many many troubleshooting steps with them. By that I really meant MANY. I did not count exactly how many times I had to contact Dell to try and fix the fingerprint issues. And it was NEVER FIXED. I first spent a whole month with them trying to get it to work (imagine who in the world would have time to sit down and try to work things out with them?). Shipping back and fourth the machine. Had Dell "contractor" technicians came to replace parts on-site for more than 5 TIMES! Hey, I got a life to live too, so I kindly disregarded the fingerprint functionality (in which I selectively have to have during purchased). Until then, couple months later when I have spare time to contact Dell again so I gave it another try. Dell finally made a "real" move to replace the whole system unit with brand new made CTO. I was happy to hear that. Who wouldn't? The machine came in nicely sealed with new plastic smell. Pealed it off, turned it on.. everything works. Suddenly, Hey it DOESN'T have RGB panel. Here we go again. Contacted Dell support. Dell sent RGB panel to replace. New motherboard doesn't have connector for RGB. Dell will configure a new machine once more. Okay... The next day I got phone calls from Dell telling me they don't do any more RGB production so nothing they can do about it.

  What now!? I would rather have my money spent with Mac for their retina or HP for its #1 seller and continuous production or Lenovo for its red nipple.
