    On Saturday i ordered a Dell Inspiron 1520, but have yet to receive any information on it. My Dell account is blank, and they have not emailed me any other information. I know it's been paid for, but i have no way of knowing it's whereabouts. On another note, how long should it take to ship? There was one option with a one day delay. Thanks for any help.

    Did you order over the phone or online?

    If you ordered over the phone, do you remember who you spoke to?

    If you ordered online, dw, just wait it out, you should get an email with the order confirmation. Check your junk folder too, might be there.

    I think you mean "inspiron" not "latitude"

    Whoops, fixed. Anyways, i ordered it online. I'm just wondering, when is the estimated shipping date provided? And i'm hearing allot about it taking upwards towards a month to receive one. My screen resolution is the normal one, and it said there should only be one day delay for my configuration.

    In Australia, you get a dell order number, and on the dell website, click "My order status"

    This should tell you the estimated shipping date. You can only do this 2 days after your order has been processed

    Don't trust your Dell order status page, it can either be way too optimistic, or way too pessimistic. I've had orders show as "in production" a week after they were delivered, and others as "en route" two weeks before they arrived.

    Call and speak to a real person.
