I just realized something. No point-stick on the xps m1330. I hate touchpads. I disable them. I love the nipple. I want the nipple. Where's my nipple!!!

Hmmm. This could make for an interesting xps hack. Can it be done? I think so!

1330 get here soon so I can nipplize you. I promise to post pictures.

If the track stick is that important to you, you should not have ordered the M1330. Some of the Dell Latitudes come with a track stick, even the ultraportable Dell D430. I used to be a track stick only person, but I am converting to the touchpad because the track stick is dying technology. I think Dell and HP only keep it around to make it easier to make sales to companies accustomed to ThinkPads. The touchpad has come a long way and is able to incorporate a richer experience than the track stick. I will say that you should find out who manufactures the touchpad in the M1330. Alps makes the D630 touchpad and it is light on functionality as opposed to the highly customizable Synaptics touchpad in my T42.

Don't even try to hack a track stick into the M1330. That would just be asking for trouble, but if you are really that insane then here is my advice. See if you can fit the D430 keyboard onto the M1330 and hope that the track stick is not integrated into a special touchpad on the D430.

Is it actually possible to "nipplize" a laptop? lol because I think they are way better than the touch pad too!
