I got my E1705 laptop yesterday and reformatted today. I have no sound.

When I go to install the audio drivers for the Audilogy card I get a message
    "no device"

In Device manager I have some devices not installed
PCI device and 4 base system devices

    HELP!

You don't have an audigy card. The $25 that you paid for "Integrated Sound Blaster Audigy HD Software Edition" was just for some fancy drivers that fake it. Try reinstalling your Dell audio drivers for this laptop. Basically, you got ripped off on the sound card if you thought you were getting a Soundblaster Audigy because what you got is nothing like it.

I tried the dell drivers but no go but then
I installed bluetooth drivers then I installed the dell audio drivers and now the sound works.

Glad to hear things are working for you! I'm not sure why you'd need the bluetooth drivers first but the important thing is you have sound once again.
