    No tracking number?

    Hi, I recently purchased (6 days ago) an inspiron 1545 for my girlfriend. I got the email 2 nights ago that the laptop had been shipper out, and I would be able to track it's location with the tacking code they provided. However, upon reviewing my order, I realized I was given no tracking code. I ordered this with the free shipping offer they had through 6/31. Is there any other way I'd be able to track the package's current location? I need to know when it will be arriving so I can have someone sign for it.

    Call CS and ask for your tracking number. I've had to do that before.

    Call Dell Customer Care, and it should also appear on your Dell Online account. You can also check it via Fed Ex:

    Go to www.fedex.com > Drop Down Tab for Track > Track by Reference > Enter Reference ( Your Order Number) > Enter Approx Ship Date if you want > Destination Country > Destination Postal Code > Click Track..and it should give you the latest info..if availi' ;)

    Sounds like an outlet order. I almost always get the laptop well before I get any tracking info.
