    what is this that i keep hearing about the noise head phone problem? do u only hear this high pitch noise with the headphones in and is it one of those noises that makes ur ears ring and makes u deaf kind

    It's usually hissing, and is caused by faulty soldering on the motherboard or other electronics generating interference.

    (think back to the days of cassette tapes the the hissing/static you got)

    no, it's just like light static. you can't hear it during actual music, but when it's quite, it's pretty noticeable.

    Yes, only with headphones. I don't hear it through my speakers at all when I have them plugged into the headphone jack.
