Why haven't the trade journals picked up on this CPU whine issue?
October ratings for laptops are out and no mention of this.

    is it me?

Why so we keep we opening up new topics on this "whine" issue? While we already have so many for each vendor on this forum?
    what about nettiquette?
just ammend instead of opening new topics on this issue....

well since this has been brought up - funny for me, the only whine i get is when the unit is actually turned off (but the unit is still charging). and its not my hearing as i've got someone confirmed this case.

It whines from the plug in from 80-100% charging. many have this problem and its not the infamous squeal. It is separate in itself.
