Okay I recently just orderd a Alienware m15x and I plan on gaming hardcore with it. My girlfriend however is left out because shes not much of a gamer. I was thinking of buying a lowerend version of the m11x for her ((its like $800)) to do her every day sit around stuff. She goes to school talks to friends on msn and uses flash games ((transformice if anyone knows that one)). I need to know if the m11x would be a cheap price at 30 a month or if dell had any other laptops that could be a DECENT (( not anywhere close to bada$$)) gaming like maybe play games on low settings. But could take the strain of moving between home -> work -> school -> home. Any cheap ideas would be wonderful, would like to maybe spring for a x-mas gift

edit: might i add before suggestions go. Inspiron Mini is definatly out. To small for her.

Why not get a macbook 13" or a 14" inch laptop. like some dell, hp, ect. I don't think an Alienware is what she needs. I know the mac maybe out of what you willing to spend but i think you can get a nice 14" laptop for $800. And please don't finance the laptop from dell they charge over 20% interest, your credit card should be able to give you a better rate.

You're going to end up paying twice what the laptop is worth with a high interest loan like that :( :( :(

I have a friend who made the same mistake. 4 years later he is still paying on the 4 year old laptop ...

Vostro 3300, or Vostro V13 or V130 perhaps?
The non-glossy screens are much better for working.
