    why wont dell sell me the complete care for my new m170 i just got it like 1 month ago, and they said cause i live in florida, but why? now how do i insure my 3k laptop? i only get to have the normal warrenty what does that cover???

    Why? You live in Florida, just like I do, so you should know why Dell won't insure your laptop - hurricanes. There are third party agencies that will insure your laptop - Google for laptop insurance.

    You might also want to consider a rider on your homeowners or renters insurance.

    wow now this i never thought of! That sucks but I can see why they'd do it. Sounds like these guys are right as for the solution.
