    Not able to control screen brightness after sleep mode

    ok im new to the laptop game

    and on my dell e1505

    i can control the screen brightness just fine by hitting the Fn key plus either the up or down arrows


    but after i come back from sleep mode..my screen is at fulll brightness and i cannot toggle teh setting at all

    i have to restart to be able to again


    (and this is with my laptop plugged in)
