Not seeing any red 1720 or 1721's shipping?

I ordered a 1721 red lid on 7/23 with an adjusted esd of 8/28. Anyone have one with similar specs ship?

A few have been sent out. 1721's seem to ship before the 1720's, but all you can do is be patient.

I ordered my ruby red 1721 on 7/25/07 had an esd of 8/10 then esd of 8/28/07; then esd 9/5/07 with next day shipping...this morning I was in production... the build stage been their for days.... now at just after 1 im in boxing...... Keeping my fingers crossed....

Guess the testing phase was really quick!

 

I was also delayed til Sept 05. Been checking status line 2-3 times a day and have been on build, just checked a few minutes ago and I am in Kitting!!!!!!! I am sooooooooo excited... Sure hope I'm not getting excited for nuthin....

 

i got a midnight blue and just now hit testing(ordered on the 23 of july)

so here to hoping, and im pulling for you red guys and gals as well!

 

2 hours later and status lines says I'm Testing.... I'm Testing !!! I'm Testing !!! as I dance around the room LOL

Yeah! Im in build after a state of perpetual pre production! Looks like those red lids came in! Now the true test, will they arrive at the current esd of 9/5? Tic, tick, tick....

Dang it... I'm still in boxing...... so hoping it goes out the door tonight so it will deliver tomorrow....otherwise it will be Tues 9/4.......aaaaaaarrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhh stupid holiday! wondering if they (DELL) are working over the holiday?

Haven't seen many people order any Yellow ones, yet they seem to not be shipping as well I have seen at least a couple people with red moving through the stages at least. Hang in there!

As of 10 min ago I was still in boxing...... I never heard testing or Kitting whatever that is... I'm just hoping they didn't throw all the components in a box and then I have to wait a week for them to assemble it.... I hope to hear SHIPPED real soon.

 

Yeah still in boxing here too :-( was so hoping it would ship this morning so I could get it Friday...Now earliest will be Tuesday... Still a lot better than where I was yesterday morning "build"......

 

yep, I went from boxing to pre-production and back to production, all in about a day. The csr I spoke with states the red lids are still delayed. Another csr I spoke with immediately afterward stated it was the cpu. I like to put myself thru various states of torture while I wait for this thing to ship. The moral of the story is this: It's anyones guess

i still have a whole month before i get mine

 

mine is still in build.it should come to shipping soon though, because a csr said i either received the back ordered part today, or will get it early next week.i gonna go with received yesterday and live happy!

IT'S HERE!!!!! Gorgeous, the feel and look of that red lid is fantastic. I'm now trying to set-up. This is going to be major just setting up preferences etc I've never touched a laptop in my life LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Had to set-up mouse, touch pad will take some practice..
