Actually, I ordered a 1521, Jet Black, on 08/12, and i've been pushed back from the 08/24 to 08/31. The other half of my order<a printer that was free, so i don't care as much> was pushed back twice, Starting with 08/22 and now it's up to 09/06.

i'm starting to get pretty upset, because everytime I call dell, all I get is "I don't know anything and I can't help you". I even tried to just get them to upgrade the shipping, and they wanted ME to pay the difference. When I explained to them that noone would be home to accept the delivery since I start school the day after it's estimated ship date, they told me that nothing can be done. I asked them to specify a delivery time with FedEX<which I know you can do, since I was a shipping manager for FedEX.> and i was told that not only would they not do such a thing, but that it wasn't their problem.
Shoulda bought an HP

 

How come I see afew people on here getting their laptops in a week.

My wife ordered a 1521, she did not think it will come for a long time so she bought Dell's certified refurbished computer. We called yesterday and got a refund.
It was everything as the new built one, but with out the camera.
It will be here next week.

My computer I ordered, I will wait to see what happens.
I use a Inspiron 3800, old but works good.

 

still waiting for mine... although its not supposed to be shipped until sept 6, last i checked (a couple days ago) it hadn't even started being built yet... it was STILL in preproduction... i chose black because i thought i would have been faster but obviously not... you figure that one out...
