    Is it possible to buy extra 9 volt batteries that are compatible with the Inspiron notebooks from anyone other than dell?

    Hello,

    I got my 1520 with a 9 cell last week. Did not like the way the 9 cell stuck out so I called Dell a few times. Finally got a great CS person and worked out a deal for another battery for 50% off. I was happy. Now I will have the 6 while carrying it and the 9 as back up once I am there.

    Call Dell and work out a deal. They have been wonderful and I only waited three weeks for my 1520, T7100, White, Anti-glare, 8600 Video Card, 7200 RPM 160K, Camera and intel wireless card. Very happy.

    Much success on getting another one from them, I am sure they will treat you right.
