I just wanted to ask if anyone uses a notebook cooler with the XPS m1330. I am not really experiencing very high CPU/GPU or HD temperatures, so I am not sure how beneficial a notebook cooler would be, but from what I have read, the cooler the unit is running, the better in terms of lengitivity and performance.

Thus, if there are any m1330 users that are currently using a notebook cooler, what made you choose to get a notebook cooler and do you have any recommendations??

    Thanks!

P.S. From reading other, more general threads regarding notebook coolers on NBR, it seems that Zalman makes really good notebook coolers. I would like to get m1330 users' opinions though.

I personally don't have a cooler, but I'm looking to get one in the near future (1 - 2 weeks?). The Zalman NC-1000 looks really nice, although I'm giving the Rosewill and Lian Li serious consideration. Those fanless coolers like that Thermaltake's Cooling Pad might also be worth considering depending on your needs and where you might be using it.

Well I dont have a xps 1330 I do have a vostro 1500 and Own a cooler ( Zalman Nc2000 a larger nc1000 (review in sig)) and I would say if you game well worth it as a zalaman is quieter then your fans. If not It should help keep your laptop cool therefore helping its lifespan.

I also have the Zalman NC2000, and recommend the NC1000 for your M1330.
I have a video review of the NC2000 - see the M1730 videos link in sig..... (its video 8 in the list ;) )

    Hey Guys,

Thanks for the advice. I just ordered a Zalman NC1000 from New Egg for 35 bucks. I thought it was a good deal, especially since most other places that I found on the internet were selling it around for 60 bucks including S&H.

I use a Vantec LapCool3, mainly because I use my notebook on my bed and on my stomach, and I don't want to block the ventilation holes.
