I have been following the recent posts on the new 1520 for a while now, and have come to the conclusion that though it is still a good buy for the money, that its crippled 8600 card, and bulky dimensions/weight really make it hard to buy. I mean the mbp destroys the performance of the 1520 (most likely due to it being the gddr3 version), and its thinner! So my question is this, are there, or will there be any computers out there that has the compactness/build quality/amazing performance of the 8600gt thats found in the MBP? I have no desire for a mac OS, and thus will not buy the MBP. But if anybody knows of a PC of this standard, or one that will be coming out perhaps from sony, or a new 15 inch xps..etc..please let me know.

You're better off asking in the What Should I Buy forum... but I'd say look at Compal IFL90 (not sure about the weight/dimensions) and the Asus V1S, which should be coming soon.
