Notebook order E&A delay??

Hey all,

Ok is it me or what. I got the 100$ coupon for the misleading 8600M GT. I'm using it to get me a belking 17" messenger bag and a Zalman NC1000-S (silver) But the ship date is 10/5/2007?? LOL is that a bit long for 2 accessories. I hope its just a glitch and guessing game that Dell likes to do.

If you have long delay with accessories, post them. (not notebook, accessories only). I wanna hear your ship date and experiences that would make it ship faster, like call or complain. Hehe

 

I ordered a Zalmand(black) and kensington lock wednesday, my ESD is Sept. 12. I'm using a $50 coupon i received for a remote, but i bought the remote by phone when i called and found out it was $3.99. They took 5 days or so to send me my coupon via email(didn't think it was coming) and I didn't want to deal with them over a remote that wasn't even $5.
Edit: I already have the remote, ordered it on a Saturday, received it less than 10 days later.

Anyway, i started a thread asking the same question the other day and no one has experience. I just got questions about how to get money from dell. Sorry, but i have no clue how long it takes, but if it takes more than 1-2 weeks, thats ridiculous. I will give them 1-2 weeks since dell doesn't carry inventory, and probably has to wait for Zalman to ship it to Malaysia, package it in dell stuff, and then send it to the U.S., and finally to me.
