And why I changed the notebook table once again! I changed the first post as well to show both tables I used.

I've been trying to find something decent for my 1720. It gets mighty crispy, not to mention it's pretty large. It's definitely bearable but I'd like something to travel around with some.

Any suggestions? Most of the lapdesk style ones (targus and whatnot) seem to be crap.

I use a (black) Zalman ZM-NC2000 at home: [IMG]

And a set of (easily removeable/cheap) Cool Feet when I'm mobile: [IMG]

The Logitech Alto is a very nice bit of kit though - if you have the room (and can afford it): [IMG]
I bought one for my son, and he's chuffed to bits with it

I really love the innovations some people have come up with. I would like to get a proper stand+cooler for my lappy though. The only problem is, I am living in India and all the above solutions (purchasable) arent available here (yes, no luck in 6 pages)

If anybody in India reads this please do reply

Hmmm...I really dont have any ideas right now, since I have never used a notebook b4...but i am sure I will b able to come up with a ton of things when I get my lappy....

one idea I have now is a tripod stool with no top, so it basically gives me a stand with good ventilation+raised platform+if I cut two legs at an angle, I will have the desired keyboard angle too..

What do you use..btw I am going to live in Bangalore...whr do you live?

I'm in Delhi. I use a table, I bought one for my notebook. It has a 2 drawers, one just under where my mouse is, and one under that drawer. So I keep it on that, and have ample space to put my DVDs and USB drives and cables and such. It also has a foot-rest.

I have 'The Beast' resting comfortably on the Logitech Alto Cordless. Fans are not covered up at all on this stand. Works perfectly with the M1730.

Picked up at Costco last X-Mas and the bundle included a Logitech Cordless Notebook Mouse.
