I saw the other thread guessing about how many total systems ordered, but I thought it would be a cool to see how many people in these forums have already ordered one.
So vote in the poll if you have ordered

Yupp... 41 days to go before it's shipped. IF I'M LUCKY. Cause the rep said the laptop was completely back-ordered and out of stock. I might not get it til New Years....
-
Yep, I made the move on June 29th.
-
Yep, long wait for mine. Come to think of it your poll makes a lot more sense than mine since we have no way of validating our guesses.
-
I am waiting for mine! Says it'll arrive sometime in the final week of this month.
-
mine is supposed to come on 19th July
-
Now that the ship date has become sooner on the m1330, (Aug 6th? w/o led screen) Does that mean the already ordered ones will come earlier still? It hasn't updated my order page.
That's not too bad... August 6th minus several days hopefully since dell tends to overestimate their ship dates. -
I feel like this is like some trial where if you end up waiting until the laptop arrives at your door, you also get a certificate for being an authentic Buddhist monk. Because becoming one is the only way to get the patience to wait.
-
i am waiting for one, but not patiently...
-
I'm waiting as well. -
Dell upgraded my shipping to free next-day delivery because my estimated ship date came out so late. Now it'll arrive at my doorstep on August 28th instead of September 1st :x
-
Wow 53 people already ordered. That's a lot of people for this early on in its release, and only on one forum.

I'm waiting on an m1330 as well, with an LED screen. Est. delivery of August 21st. This has been a hugely popular notebook. You've seen how many people on this forum have ordered, but I'm sure MANY more have been sold. Not much interest in those new Inspirons. In a way, I wish Dell would've released this notebook when they were ready to ship though. The wait times are crazy.
-
Mine is supposed to be shipped this week
We'll see though. 61 so far..go NBR lol -
I think Dell's product launch was pretty successful overall. -
@Inspired
I did not even think about the viewing thing. I just assumed if have not ordered and are not going to order then that's everyone else. But your right if I added the 3rd option they people do not have to view results all the time.
Can you edit polls? -
Ordered mine the night of the 26th, due to ship the 28th of JULY.
I made #64. -
mine will be at my house on july 30th ordered on june 27th
-
Mine should ship tomorrow!
Oh please let me be first ;-)
(OK - I am remembering now.... it is not mine - it is for my wife) -

Sad how I keep searching the forums for any news of shipping M1330s. I'm going to lose too much hair waiting for this beaut'.

They told me it doesn't show up in the tracking system here until it ships so I don't actually know the state of the order - but since the day I ordered it they said it would ship on 10th and arrive around 14th July. -
I wish you could find out to fulfill my curiosity. *sigh*...
-
That way I only have to check the order status 5 times a day! -
Yup, ordered one. Should get one between today and July 20th..
-
Ordered on 3rd July and getting delivery date of 20th
-
i order on july 5 and getting it deliver aug 27 WTF ????
-
Can you add in another option in the poll of "No, i don't think i will unless..."
For me, unless it has a 8400M GT in it... -
the performance gains of the GT will be minimal..
Just check my order and its been set back to the 23rd of June
2 more weeks dammit!! -
http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=132174
If double the fps means minimal, i think nvidia won't even make the 8400M GT -
Yeah, the GT is quite a boost from the GS - the 128 bit memory bus is key.
-
didn't realise there was that big of a jump..but considering the size of the laptop i'm guessing they are using every square mm to cram all this stuff in.
The GS will cope fine with newer games on lowish settings. CS:S will run great..which is all i plan to play on it.. I have a desktop for real gaming.
End of the day..don't buy a 13.3" ultra portable to play games.. it's just a nice touch that it can. -

Where did the other 4 votes came from?

I ordered mine from a Dell Kiosk today for my birthday gift to myself. Ordered July 9, expected ship date is Aug 28.
No discounts from the kiosk guys. I showed them the quote I built up from home. I got 3% off for using Dell Credit no interest for 12 months promo, so I saved $59.
So if there is a price drop, or back to school special, I assume I will have time to cancel my order and reorder at a promotional price? When do the back to school specials start? -
It doesn't look like there were as many orders as we thought would have been made ... from NBR atleast...

For what it's worth, you all should check pcmicroworks.com. I ordered:
Intel Mobile Core 2 Duo T7300 CPU 4MB Cache
2048MB DDR2 Extreme Performance Memory
100GB @ 7,200RPM High Speed Storage
nVIDIA Geforce GO 8600GT 512MB EXTREME PCI-X
15.4" High Resolution GlassVision Wide Screen LCD
8 Channel Advanced SRS WOW Surround Sound
High Speed 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit Networking
Internal High Speed V90k Dial Up Modem
Built In 802.11AGN 300mbps Wireless Adapter
Integrated Advanced Bluetooth Wireless Adapter
Built In Biometric FingerPrint Scanner
Microsoft® Windows Vista Business Edition 32 Bit
Included Notebook Carrying Bag
3 Year Diamond Blanket Warranty Protection Plan
CD/DVD Burner
Arctic Silver 5 standard on all notebooks
I got a great deal with a phone representative for the warranty... I WAS going to order the M1330 until I experienced Dell Hell (my story is on my blog -- www.bulgariasia.blogspot.com) and cut ties completely with Dell. But PC MicroWorks is great, I really got a good deal. My M1330 was going to be 1900, but I got the three year warranty with PCMW plus an NVIDIA Geforce GO 8600 512 MB (and all of the above) for $1640 with overnight shipping. A LOT better I'd say... esp. considering their SICK warranty and service plan (check it out... trust me) plus their service and website is great. I can't ask for more... especially with my Dell experience.
Just throwing it out there. -
If you do not need a really small and light laptop though then yeah I think the M1330 is a little overkill. Because you can get 15.4in laptops for so much less. -
Dell customer service does seem to be quite inconsistent though. I wouldn't doubt that you ran into issues with your M1330 order.
Number of M1330 Ordered by NBR.com!!
