If we take this thread's voters as an accurate sample of the world at large, and I would like to say that we can. Then 92% of the world's 6 billion odd people have either ordered, or are going to order an M1330. This could be a good year for Dell.
-
There are thousands of users on the forum so 100 odd is not 96% of them. -
Their warranty is ok. Wholesale prices for upgrades seems nice. However, you having to pay for shipping to them=not so nice.
-
I bet at least 50
-
hey strangerDid you ever get your order reinstated ?
-
No way that this is representative of anything. People who click on this thread are mostly those who have either ordered or are interested in the M1330.

But yeah that's all I created this poll for, so we can get an idea of how many people have ordered them. Now we know that around 132 active forum members have ordered. The option for "not planning to order" was just added so people who are not going to order can see the results every time. -
Okay seriously you don't need to post updates about the number of people who've responded, it tallies itself o_o

133- Was set on getting a Lenovo X61 until I came across this site and saw the M1330 link along the left-hand panel when trying to look up reviews of the X61.
-
lol Seriously though, quit posting tally updates.
Although, if you just bought a M1330 it would be great if you did what notebooknewbie411 just did. Vote then post with your number, and the reason why you chose the M1330.
1 - I really wanted a system with the new LED Back lighting. The Lenovo T61 was my first choice until I started seeing news about the XPS M1330. Then I held off to see what that was like. I love the smaller form factor, and the design. The fact that dell has fit a pretty much standard laptop into such a small package impressed me alot.Last edited by a moderator: May 8, 2015 -
Ordered too

Ordered 3 days ago and I'm #147
The reason I ordered was because the form factor and the LED display that I'm really looking for. I considered MBP big time over Dell for a long time due to it's great design and powerful specs with balanced battery life but when I saw M1330 with 9 cell can go pretty much the same length in battery life comparison while being a lot smaller and lighter I didn't mind compromising a bit of processing power to compensate for the loss in weight since I will be carrying it around with me when I go to my lectures.
I decided that I'm only doing light gaming on my lappie so I guess it wouldn't hurt that much and ordered. -
I did order one. Dell convinced me to cancel it.

I ordered one on July 23 ship date Sept. 9
