Does anyone use component video output on their dell with unofficial video driver (not dell)? I've tried find the latest unofficial driver for my Vostro 1500 to see if it improves CPU utilization. Since laptop2go site is down I found 156.55 driver on a different site and discovered that some of the hd-dvd, blu-ray rips won't play. Also I was getting only black and white picture over component video out. In addition to that, PowerDVD toolbar won't dissapear completely while in the fullscreen mode. I had to roll back the driver to fix these problems. Though CPU utilization was around 1-6% while playing Open Season rip (h.264 encoded) with new driver suggesting pure video hw support in video card. With original (dell) video driver CPU utilization varied from 60-98% sometimes peaking at 100% (5470).
