I am just curious to why it is $200 to upgrade to the Nvidia Geforce 8600M GT from integrated graphics on the Inspiron 1520 (when you order it from the site) and it is only $150 to upgrade from integrated graphics on the Vostro 1500 (when you order it from the site)?

Hmmm, seems strange. They are the exact same card in both. But after checking if you look closely the integrated graphics in the 1520 is X3000 and the Vostro is X3100.

Same card, what's funny is that the vostro 1500 actually says outright that its DDR2 on the specs page.

While the underlying hardware is the same for the 1520 and the 1500, the pricing can vary by a lot. Put in all the specs for the system you want and see what comes out cheaper in the end.
