For the Go 7900GS, Any differences between the Stock Dell And Nvidia Drivers? Iheard the Nvidia Drivers raises the clock speed a little. Is this true?

No, but Dell drivers are probably based on an earlier version of the nvidia drivers. The nvidia drivers will always be the most up to date ones.

You can also check out omega drivers and other third party drivers, they are also based on the official drivers and claim to include optimizations that will increase performance.

The nvidia drivers have a different control panel interface. The clocks are locked in the BIOS, so the drivers won't affect those at all. One thing to note is that most people aren't able to get the LCD to turn off properly when set to do nothing when the lid is closed with non-Dell drivers.

That is the worst part about not using Dell's drivers... it really stinks actually. I would love to figure out how to mod that feature into updated nVidia drivers so I can OC and still have the screen shut off when I close the lid (without going into standby, shutting down, or hybernating). *sigh*

That really has nothing to do with the Dell drivers. Whether your use the laptopvideo2go drivers or the Dell drivers, the only way to overclock is still through flashing the BIOS.

You may be referring only to the 7900GS, but I can OC my 7800 using my XG Mobile Force drivers - no BIOS flash necessary.

Ah, you're one of the few who have the 7800go in the E1705. You're right then, I didn't notice which card you had. :)
