I've been watching dells website for about 2 weeks straight now, and have come to realize when ready to order a 9300 laptop today that they had removed their Nvidia 6800 series and other nvidia cards for their notebooks... Wtf is up with that?

This has been discussed in a few other threads, but it's a supply issue.
-
this thread ( http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=36841) said that the 6800go card were on short supply. Nvidia would never pull ties from Dell.
-
In addition, it would be a bad move by Dell to kick out Nvidia, as the I9300 sells pretty well because of its Nvidia GPU.
-
Oh yeah, Michael Dell's keynote at CES had the CFO of Nvidia in it. They were showing off the Dell XPS 600 with the quad 7800gtx.
-
okay, i made the other thread a sticky about Dell being out of the cards, so i'm going to lock this one to avoid confusion.
SG
Nvidia cards now not suited with a 9300 or other XPS purchase?
