    I want to get a new laptop. I currently have a 600m, but if possible, want to get something lighter, that still has an internal optical drive. I would consider the D610, if nothing lighter is pending, but I don't want to get one of those if it is about to be replaced/udated.

    Any good rumors or info floating around out there?

    There will be several new units and updates from Dell near the turn of the year. We're not able to provide any more details at this time however.
