Well, I just got mine today, and I love it! Only thing that sucks is all the time it takes to update and uninstall the bloatware. As soon as I get DX9 installed Im going to run a 3dmark05 on her. Ill post later what I got.

It is offered on the small business site. It is the E1705 just on the business side.

Thanks, I don't see the GeForce 7800 offered on the site, I guess I have to call to get that? And is the 7800 better than the ATI X1400? Thanks again.

WOW, very nice!! I could do woth a new notebook! One thing about Optical Drives. When I but a laptop, I expect it to have the latest components so I could keep it for a few years. The new Blu-Ray and HD-DVD - RW Optical Drives? I heard that they are going to be very expensive, the drives and of course the discs. Are new dell notebooks going to have built in HD-DVD/Blu-Ray/DVD/Cd -RW drives?? And is anyone else going to upgrade their dell drives if these drives actually come out- internal ones?

My new laptop... which is essentially the same, except my Processor is 2.0ghz x2, and I have 1 gig of ram... is on the way. Should be here by the 22nd or 23rd.

Can't wait to load it up and play TES: Oblivion!

Yep. And, since it's a business oriented laptop (hence on the business section), it ships with Windows XP Home, rather than Windows XP MCE.

Oh and, you wont be able to choose nVidia 7800GO in USA. I managed to choose it in NZ before they ran out of stock here.
