    Hi guys,

I am about to raise an insurance claim after my Studio 17 laptop had an unfortunate tumble off my lap as I reached for the remote (how fat, dumb and lazy does that make me sound! :(). I have 28 days to raise a claim based on an assessment of the laptop. Seeing as I cant even turn it on (backlit keyboard lights, power indicator lights up but nothing else) I fear it is toast.

I imagine I am likely to receive the next cheapest Dell 17" laptop which would probably be the inspirion. However with the old one being phased out and the new one phased in is it likely for dell to cease selling the old inspirion anytime soon? Or, are they likely to tell them both to cover upper-medium and lower-medium price ranged laptops?

I want to keep everything totally above board, but still am curious to find out which of the two inspirion models I am likely to receive in the next month.

    Cheers guys :)

edit; This is UK stock btw.
