    Hello

Looking for some expert here as I am afraid my wireless adaptor in my Vostro 1500 has been disabled somehow.

Basically, i was messing with services.msc last night and when i re-booted i got the following message:

'You wi-fi catcher band configuration is not compatible with your WLAN card band configuration. Select yes to change to change your wi-fi catcher band configuration or no to keep your current configuration'

No matter if I say yes or no my wireless adaptor will not pick anything up. I have reversed what i changed in services.msc but still no joy.

Does anyone know the particular service I may have changed in services.msc or shed any light onto how I can resolve this.

    Really grateful for any help

    Thanks

Did you disable the Wireless Zero Configuration service when you were in services.msc? That might cause you some issues. Make sure it is set to Automatic.

    Hello

The wireless zero configuration doesn't exist in my Vista services but I had set 'Wired AutoConfig' and 'WLAN AutoConfig' to manual instead of automatic.

    All ok now cheers
