I'm lookin to try running OSX on my system. I know you can run it on Intel PCs and all.
I want to know if I can run it n my DuoCore e1705. Here is my setup:
    Windows XP Media Center Edition
Intel Core DuoProcessor T2500 (2GHz/667MHz FSB)
17 inch UltraSharp TrueLife Wide-screen WUXGA
    512MB, DDR2, 533MHz 2 Dimm
    256MB NVIDIA GeForce Go 7800
    100GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive
    8X DVD+/-RW Drive
    Dell Wireless 1390 802.11g Mini Card (54Mbps)
    Integrated High Definition Audio (SigmaTel)

If it is possible to run OSX on my Dell, I would like to set asside a little partition to do so. If anyone can help me out with 1) If it's possible one my setupd and 2) How to do it (in as simple a way as possible) that would be great.

If you haven't you should check out http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page. On the first page there are links to lists of working hardware.

I plan on buying a M1210 as soon as they're available and I'm going to give installing OS X a go on that but for now I'm not a whole lot of help. However after reading the forums at osx86project.com installing OS X on laptops other than Apples can be a daunting task. If it doesn’t want to install natively you can also try running it in a virtualizer such as VMWare, there may be better driver support for the virtualized environment than the native one.
