Hi, I recently overclocked my vga, first I changed my old driver to the 174.93 and the overclocked with rivatuner, 710/840.

    My specs are:
    XPS m1530
    | Intel Core 2 Duo T7500
    | 2048MB
    | 160GB 75400rpm HDD
    | NVidia 8600m GT 256MB DDR3
    | OS: XP

    First had 4403 on 3dMark06
    Now getting 6103 on 3dMark06

But the temp peaks at 80c on the 3dmark tests, Is that to much or normal, should I stay with this setting or change them back because of the temperature? I noticed that compared with the normal temperature of the vga (not playing) that is 60c It just jumps 20c so I dont think is that much.

80C is fine. Thats about how hot mine gets as well. Is it completely stable at those timings?

I could apply it, but im not sure if to open the notebook (might break guarante or i could have problems while i assemble it) unless it really helps the temp.

well I dont get any artifacts or bugs, anyways i need to check it, do you know any program to monitor stability?
