I dont know if you can overclock the pm in a dell. The only way possible is going to be flash with a overclockable dell bios, which there are none. Vista is going to be ok with the upper level pm.

if vista is slow at 2, then .13 or .26 more isn't going to make any difference

Yea, that is what I'm thinking. A 2.13 or 2.26ghz wont make that much difference. If vista requires that much power, is it even worth it because you are jepardizing your computer's life spand by overclocking just to use that OS.

Well, I am in the process of pinmoding my cpu right not, best way you are gonna be able to overclock that pm. You have to buy a 400mhz cpu to do it, but if you sell that 2.0 you have, you should actually MAKE money!! Basically, if you are happy with 2.26, you just need to pick up a 1.7 and pinmod it, and they are very close to 100% successful. I am doing a 1.8, so I can get it up to a 2.4. Fortunately though, if it works, you shouldn't really get any heat gains :)
